Performance and Operation:
The ER-DN-SS Coalescing Oil/Water/DNAPL Separator will remove DNAPL (dense non-aqueous phase liquid) contaminant and all non-emulsified oil from wastewater that has a minimum of suspended solids. It will produce an effluent with less than 10 mg/L of oil droplets measuring larger than 30 microns in size. The separated oil will be discharged through a nozzle, the DNAPL will be discharged through the bottom of the V-shaped hopper, and the water will be discharged through the effluent chamber.
The ER-DN-SS is constructed of stainless steel material with special baffles, V-shaped hopper and weirs to direct flow, skim oil, remove DNAPL, and control liquid levels in the separator. The stainless steel coalescing media is oleophilic. The oil coalesces and rises to the surface where the oil is removed via the adjustable skimmer while DNAPL descends to the bottom and is discharged through the hopper.
