Automation Design

Electrical designs, including 3-phase power distribution, PLCs, frequency drives, HMIs and communication networks; CAD generated one-line diagrams, ladder diagrams, and operator/control panel layouts.

Software System Design

Fliteway Technologies, Inc. has programming experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Modicon, Idec NBT and EOS programmable logic controllers, smart relays, as well as their data highway communication protocols. HMI experience using, but not limited to, Allen Bradley's RSView32, Allen Bradley PanelBuilder32 and Taylor Panel View. SCADA systems using, but not limited to, Allen Bradley's RSView32, EOS Research and Taylor.

Control Panel Assembly

Fliteway Technologies, Inc. is a UL-508-listed control panel fabricator and is also a 698A-listed control panel shop for industrial control panels relating to hazardous locations.

Electrical Assembly

Fliteway Technologies offers complete electrical assembly, including on-machine wiring, electrical sub-assemblies, electrical interconnect, and component level electrical assembly. We can utilize flexible, EMT, and rigid conduit from 3/8” up to 2”. Fliteway Technologies adheres to the highest quality electrical standard wiring practices.

Electrical Safety

We have on-staff an experienced electrical safety instructor and can offer training in both basic electrical safety and NFPA 70E.  Individual and group instruction available.

Re-Automation

Recondition your existing equipment by updating it with new electrical controls, rebuilding or replacing worn mechanical components, and installing new OSHA-compliant guarding and safety equipment. Fliteway Technologies offers a complete fabrication shop and has journeyman tool-and-die makers available, as well as a full machine shop, and mechanical engineering capabilities.

Guarding

Our fabrication shop has experience building OSHA-compliant guarding in a variety of styles utilizing aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components. Paint, anodizing, and powder coating is available.

Startup and Troubleshooting

Fliteway Technologies, Inc. can provide on-site startup assistance and diagnostic troubleshooting of existing systems and machinery.

Buildings and Trailers

Fliteway Technologies, Inc. is licensed by UL to inspect and classify commercial and industrial buildings and mobile (trailer) units to comply with UL and NEC codes for interior classification as a Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location and exterior classification as non-hazardous.

The Fliteway FliteLink control and telemetry system utilizes two major components, a telemetry unit with a cellular GSM modem and a Rockwell MicroLogix Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The telemetry unit communicates to the PLC through an Ethernet connection for information exchange. The PLC allows for system control and data acquisition. The features of the telemetry unit include:

Web Based Human-Machine Interface – Each telemetry unit contains an embedded Web server, allowing users to monitor data from any internet connection.

Historical or Realtime Data Logging – The unit stores data in its internal database for analysis and review (historical logging) or to analyze recent trends (realtime logging). This data, once captured, can be transferred to other network resources. Data can be passed on a predetermined schedule, on alarm, or by remote request. The user can request the data in either graphical or table form.

GSM Modem – The integrated modem is capable of sending SMS alarm messages, emailing alarm messages, or emailing the historical data log. The modem also allows users to access the PLC remotely. Fliteway can also provide users with an “Always On” link to the telemetry unit. You are even able to view your unit's status from our website - 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

Cellular, Cable, Hard Line, and Satellite Compatable – In addition to cellular capabilities, the system can be optionally configured to work with a land telephone line, cable phone service, or satellite.
